While cantaloupe is in season, blend some up into a sweet, waist thinning shake! This is a great breakfast on the go, a mid-day energizer, or just a nice detox to cleanse your system and get in some nutrients without a ton of added calories. Lots of added potassium to keep you hydrated this summer. Recipe taken from "365 Vegan Smoothies" by Kathy Patalsky. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup coconut water
1/2 cup vanilla soy, nut or hemp milk
1 1/2 frozen bananas
2 teaspoons matcha powder
1/2 cup frozen or fresh cantaloupe chunks
1/2 cup ice
Optional- Boost with a scoop of vanilla protein powder
Directions:
Blend ingredients together until smooth.
