Raw Jicama fries

So I discovered this weird raw vegetable thing. I'm still not really sure what it is. Jicama is a type of root veggie.. you can eat it raw and it's crunchy yet soft, sweet yet savory, crispy but fun to eat. It's not a direct substitute to french fries.. however this quick and convenient raw snack is so easy to throw together and you can eat a big helping of it for roughly 100 calories.  It's satisfying and good for you. Tasty but raw. And did I mention easy? I love time saving and convenient recipes.. so this one is a go. Give it a try!

Ingredients:

Raw jicama sticks (can be found at trader joe's)
chili lime sea salt seasoning (at trader joe's.. or make your own with chili powder, lime juice, and sea salt)
nutritional yeast

Directions:

Sprinkle your seasonings over your jicama to taste. Toss well to cover. Enjoy! These guys taste great with hummus, guac, or on their own!
