Raw dill patties

These delicious raw "burgers" can be dehydrated into patties or eaten as a spreadable pate on some toast, or in a wrap or lettuce leaf! I enjoyed mine on some sprouted bread topped with fresh dill and a salad on the side. They're very easy to make and are comprised of the most wholesome and simple plant-based ingredients. The mixture is full of flavor and also full of protein! This recipe was taken from "Fresh: The Ultimate Live-Food Cookbook" by Valya and Sergei Boutenko. Enjoy :)



Ingredients:

1 cup ground flaxseeds
1/2 lb. dry almonds
1/2 bunch green onions
1/2 lb. carrots
1 large tomato (or sub 1/4-1/2 cup marinara sauce)
1 large bunch of dill
4-5 garlic cloves
1/4 cup onion powder
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
1-2 teaspoons salt


Blend everything together in a food processor until smooth. You may need to push down the sides of the "batter" with a rubber spatula a few times until everything is well combined. Taste and adjust spices or herbs to your liking!
