A super quick and easy treat, this smoothie will give you some energy to start your day as a breakfast, as a recovery smoothie, as a snack or even dessert. It's technically a smoothie but tastes like a creamy milkshake!
Ingredients:
(serves 1)
1 frozen banana
1 serving (1-2 scoops) of plain or vanilla plant-based protein powder (or if using chocolate protein powder omit the cocoa powder)
2 tablespoons of plain cocoa powder
plant based milk to desired consistency
optional- 1-2 tablespoons of peanut or almond butter or PB2 powder
Directions:
Blend everything together in a high speed blender until smooth. Add more milk to thin it out or start off with less if you want it thick. Enjoy!
