Acai smoothie rainbow bowl

colors + nutrition + satisfying wholesome goodness = acai smoothie bowl and the perfect satisfaction for your fruit cravings :) This baby will fill you up and give you pure natural energy to last all day.




Ingredients:

Smoothie base:

Frozen Acai (try Trader Joe's Acai packets in the frozen fruit section) or acai powder
handful of frozen mango
1 frozen banana
almond or coconut milk
1 tablespoon spirolina

Toppings:

Fruits and seeds from each color of the rainbow. I used:
strawberries
mangoes
bananas
avocados
apples
watermelon
chia seeds
(and yes.. some were frozen! Frozen fruits are delicious toppings as well and once they thaw for a few minutes they're easy to chew!)

Directions:

Blend together your smoothie ingredients. Use just enough milk to get it to be liquidey, but still thick like soft service ice cream. Transfer to a bowl.

Top with your fruits and veggies in fun color coordinated rows (or just throw them all on there!) I have fun with the presentation of my food, so I enjoyed putting my toppings in color order, and then surrounding the edge with chia seeds. This bowl was DELICIOUS! Enjoy :)
