This simple frosting is easy to whip up and can be modified to be any flavor you like! Featured in "Hot Damn and Hell Yeah- The Dirty South Cookbook", this icing can be used on any cake or dessert but compliments the vanilla cake really well!
Ingredients:
2 cups powdered sugar
½ cup margarine or earth balance
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons water
½ teaspoon of liquid for flavor (such as vanilla, lemon juice, coffee, rum, etc.)
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl until creamy. To thicken, transfer to a jar and refrigerate until use.
