HEALTHY cacao, peanut butter, & banana smoothie

This smoothie really tastes like a milkshake but I wouldn't really call it one, since 1. it's GOOD for you, and 2. there's no ice cream! It sure tastes like it though... but with only wholesome, healthy ingredients, this "dessert" can fill the spot of a meal or snack with surprisingly less fat, and only 175 calories. This recipe was taken from "The Ultimate Smoothie Book" by Cherie Calbom.

Ingredients (serves 1):

1 cup of non-dairy milk

2 frozen bananas

2 tablespoons of peanut butter, or if you're trying to cut back on fat, try powdered peanut butter (I LOVE it)!

1 tablespoon of carob or cacao powder (both wholesome, carob is a caffeine free alternative to cacao)

1 tablespoon of protein powder (I used chocolate hemp protein- YUM)

6 ice cubes, or some extra milk

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Enjoy!
