Color Me A Forever Home

Love to color? Myself and a bunch of talented artists have put together an incredible adult coloring book called "Color Me A Forever Home" which was created to promote adoption and to raise funds for animal shelters and rescues. The first edition, which was released 2 weeks ago, features 13 drawings of various artists who have contributed to help animals. The books include not only the gorgeous hand-drawn designs of dogs and cats but include information about all of the featured artists. The books are only $5 each, and the best part about them is that every single bit of the money is going right to shelters and rescues.

Since the book was released, I have raised about $150 from sales through Facebook alone. All of the donations I raise on my own will be donated to Alachua County Animal Services, a Florida shelter I volunteer at regularly that is striving to achieve a no kill status (and getting close to it) and the $ will most likely be used to purchase items on their wish list that they rely solely on donations for. Additional funds raised have been raised from the project individually by different rescues like Plenty of Pit Bulls and Alachua County Humane Society, which have also been selling the coloring books and utilizing the funds raised from them. I hope to have the project branch off to other shelters and rescues all over the country.

PDF versions are available and can be printed at your leisure, while printed out packets are available and can be shipped for an additional charge. Leave your email information as a message to get a coloring book emailed to you. Please support our project to not only help animals find their forever homes, but to boost your creativity with therapeutic coloring! The coloring books are perfect for adults to color in with any medium ranging from colored pencils, crayons, watercolors, pastels, etc. and are appropriate for children to enjoy as well. They are great to purchase for yourself or to give as gifts to creative animal lovers of all ages.
