Banana milk

This milk is a delicious dairy free milk alternative, that is easier and less costly to make than nut milks (which are also very delicious).... but this sweetened, thick, flavorful and creamy drink is the perfect addition to oatmeal or cereal,  a refreshing cold drink in the summer, a quick and healthy treat in the morning or on the go, or the perfect complement to a rich dessert. It's perfect to sub for milk anywhere that you may want a sweetened taste (and some extra potassium and electrolytes) :) I encourage you to give it a try and enjoy!



Ingredients:

2 bananas
4 cups of water
4 dates (remove the pits if they have them) (or another natural sweetener of choice)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of ice
dash of cinnamon (optional)

Directions:

Blend everything together in a blender until smooth. Enjoy! Will stay fresh for 2 days.
