3 day pickles

I found this amazing pickle recipe on Pinterest, and not only is it easy but it only takes 3 days to make fresh cucumbers (or cute cumbers as I call the cute little ones!!) into dill pickles! I haven't officially tried ours yet because I just made them tonight, but based on the smell of them before I sealed the jar I can almost guarantee that these will be amazing! If you're a pickle addict or just want a healthy snack in the fridge, or a good side to sandwiches and subs keep some of these handy!!

Ingredients (per jar of pickles):

- 2 cucumbers (may fit more or less depending on the size of your cucumbers!)
- 1 cup of white vinegar
- 3 cups of water
- 1 tablespoon of organic fair trade cane sugar
- 1 tablespoon of sea salt
- 2 cloves of garlic or a teaspoon of garlic paste
- a nice handful of fresh dill

Directions:

Add water, vinegar, sugar and salt to a saucepan and cook on high heat until the mixture starts to boil. Once boiling for a couple minutes, remove from stovetop and allow to cool.

Cut up your cucumbers into spears or slices depending on your preference. I cut mine into thin spears (one cucumber cut 8 times) to make them thin and easy to cram a lot into one jar.

Fill a mason jar, or any other sealable container with your cucumbers and add garlic and dill.

Pour vinegar mixture into the jar or container and seal. Place in fridge for 3 days. Once 3 days are up, take out and enjoy!
