Life is wonderful. On this lovely day where for the first time in a while I get to do absolutely nothing... I am just thinking about all the wonderful things I have to be grateful for. I'm so lucky to have an amazing family (small but wonderful) and the perfect husband. To have best friends all over the country that I don't see often but still keep in touch with. To be able to be vegan and have so many amazing food options at the food stores and restaurants here in Gainesville. To be part of a vegan revolution that doesn't seem to make a difference, but collectively those that choose cruelty free foods and products are really saving animals every day. I'm also thankful we live in warm amazing weather. In a perfect town. That we have a nice apartment we love, and although we aren't rich with money; we are rich with love, happiness and experiences. That we have a house full of pets, many of which were rescued and we are so grateful to have saved. For our memories of Alvin, that we will always cherish and even as we miss him we are fortunate to have had the ability to relieve him of his pain and suffering. To have found Manny, who we adopted, saved and rescued, from a possible sad fate that many bully breeds are forced to face. That maybe by others falling in love with Manny, we can reverse racism against pitbulls. To have our princess Weiner, who even loves Manny too. To have a job at an amazing Museum, where I actually get to work with leps and have such awesome coworkers. To have this day off... to do absolutely nothing (well, there are things I should be doing but that I'm putting off!), even though I still have a bad hangover. The fact I'm healthy, alive and well... and able to even experience a hangover I am grateful for too. Life is what you make of it, and your happiness only exists from inside you- you choose to create it. What are you thankful for?
