Pet Head

I just wanted to recommend one of my favorite pet wellness brands to pet parents everywhere: Pet Head. Pet Head does not test on animals, and has affordable, great smelling fun products for you and your pets.

Alvin and Weiner love the Pet Head body wipes that smell like oranges. Great for these two right now because they stink... regular grooming visits are expensive, and baths are a pain in the winter time. Use these for spot cleaning your pet or giving them a nice massage with an orange smelling wipe. If you regularly bathe your dog, try some of Pet Heads shampoos and conditioners in irresistible flavors that may result in you uncontrollably sniffing your pet. Remember, you should only use special pet bathing products on your pet when giving a bath, because human shampoos and conditioners are not the right pH for your pet's skin.

Weiner's personal favorite product is the Pet Head pet polish.

Available in assorted colors, not only is this polish safe for pets but it dries fast. Not quite as fast as the bottle says.. but give or take about a minute and it's dry enough to not worry about those nails sticking together or smearing on your carpet. The key here is patience... pets who don't like their feet being handled may have a hard time with this, but if you can get them to stay still, you can paint each nail with a quick stroke and just wait for it to dry.

Weiner loves to lay on her back so she just relaxes while I paint each nail. This polish is great for humans too, (and good because it's hard to find human nail polish these days that doesn't test on animals). Also a great accessory if you want to be seen matching your pet's nails in style. By "pets", I mean much more than dogs. Cats who want to be fashionable can wear polish too, if they will tolerate the time it takes to complete. If my blue-tongued skink wasn't a male, there's a good chance he would be wearing pet polish by now too.

Pet Head products are available at your local Walmart. You can find them in the Dog Health and Wellness section of the pet aisle. They are endorsed by the official pets including Peanut and the pack.
