Painting with a Pit

This year I have been able to totally expand and blossom with my Painting with a Pit fundraising efforts! So far we have done a total of NINE fundraiser to benefit local animal organizations, and have at least 3 more in the works in the coming months.

What is Painting with a Pit? Painting with a Pit is an entity that offers fundraising opportunities through pet portrait painting parties in our community! As a professional artist, I offer classes where I assist you in creating your very own pet portrait. You pay a donation to attend the event, and 100% of that money gets donated to a local animal organization. We raise hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars from each event.

Non-Profit Organizations we have been working with and donating to:

Plenty of Pit Bulls
Lubee Bat Conservancy
Save the Rhino International
Faithful Friends Pet Rescue & Rehoming
Humane Society of North Central Florida
Florida Urgent Rescue
Second Chance Rescue & Rehoming
Operation Catnip
Pay to Spay

In total, we have raised nearly $6k for animals in need and I hope to keep expanding these efforts well into the future!

Want to get your non-profit animal related organization involved in benefiting from a Painting with a Pit party? Shoot me an email at paintingwithapit@gmail.com so we can collaborate!

Looking to get involved or help? You can follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see all of our upcoming events and see details about signing up. By participating, you're directly supporting my efforts and helping animals in our community! I'm also always in need of painting supplies to help me continue these fundraisers, as I provide all supplies for each event. Supplies I'm in constant need of include 8x10" stretched canvases and acrylic paints. We also can use table top easels and paint brushes.

I'm currently not at a non-profit status because of the costs involved in kick-starting a 501, but I hope to get there in the future. For now, I'm using my art business to help fund Painting with a Pit events and keep them going so we can continue raising funds for animals, but I can always certainly use help and support!
