Simply one of the best... and simple smoothies. This thing gave me enough fuel to get me through an entire day of running around doing errands on Friday and kept me feeling light, full and energetic. This smoothie can used as a smoothie bowl base and can be loaded with toppings, or thinned out a bit for a tasty shake. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen blueberries
1-2 tablespoons almond butter
almond (or another non-dairy) milk, about 1 1/2 cups
optional- agave nectar to taste
Directions:
Blend everything together in a blender until smooth! Add more milk to thin it out if needed, and add optional sweetener if the smoothie isn't sweet enough for you. Tastes delicious topped with nuts, seeds, coconut and/or fresh fruit!
