This smoothie is just out of this world. If you need a sweet, energy-boosting and refreshing start to your day and it makes you feel alive to be drinking a thick green smoothie this is perfect for you (I promise it's delicious even though it's green!). The antioxidants and nutrients in this thing are through the roof and it will make you feel amazing as it cleanses your body and soul. This recipe was modified from a recipe in "365 Vegan Smoothies" by Kathy Patalsky.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup coconut water
2 peeled kiwis
1 banana
1-2 cups of chopped spinach, and/or fresh moringa
1 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup ice
optional add ins: 1 teaspoon flax oil for healthy omega-3's, and/or 1 teaspoon matcha powder for an energy boost
Instructions:
Blend everything together until smooth!
