The sound I woke up to early in the AM was the noise of Alvin's esophagus hurling up the excess leftovers of whatever he had gotten into the day before.. the sound of gagging and gross chunks of who knows what being excreted from his mouth. Alvin puking up something we never even knew he got into is nothing new. Just a beautiful start to a new beautiful day of Alvin.
Later in the day he didn't fail to continue the bad behavior by getting into our cooler of salvageable food after day 3 of living with a broken refrigerator. The cooler was big and heavy enough it should have kept him out, but the bastard managed to open it and help himself to all of the sealed foods inside. The brand new cooler also has enough tooth and bite marks to look like a shark was trying to get inside. I'm so glad that the soy meatballs I travel 2 hours to get from Trader Joe's effectively filled Alvin's stomach, with the excess of my favorite meal getting tossed about the kitchen and into the dog water bowl. He also enjoyed a good helping of vegetable oil spread and a whole container of hummus, amongst some unrecognizable items that had been stored in a ziplock storage bag.
SOMEONE will not be getting fed tonight. Unfortunately since all our food is gone, it looks like Josh and I won't be eating either.
