This easy and basic smoothie recipe is great for a personal blender, but can be doubled to feed two. I threw together this nutrient dense recipe that sneaks in some BROCCOLI or other dark greens without you being able to taste them! It's a super hero smoothie because it helps kids grow to be big and strong just off of plant protein.. and if you don't tell them I bet they won't even know there's broccoli in this, because it tastes delicious and fruity! Great for people of all ages to feel like a super hero... the perfect way to start your day off strong!
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen broccoli or spinach
1 banana
1/2-3/4 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen mango
1 tablespoon flax and/or hemp seeds
non-dairy milk
orange juice and/or pineapple juice
Directions:
Throw everything together in a blender! Fill about 3/4 of the way to the top of your ingredients with milk and the remainder of the way with juice. Blend until smooth.
